The Sharks have fended off interest from the DHL Stormers and re-signed Springbok utility back Aphelele Fassi for the foreseeable future.
Fassi has put pen to paper on a new multi-year deal in Durban to end speculation linking him with a move to the reigning Vodacom United rugby Championship winners.
The three-Test-capped Bok, who is also able to play fullback and wing, is understood to have been earmarked to supplement several positions for the Stormers next season.

Western Province Rugby were reportedly making good progress trying to bring the versatile 25-year-old to Cape Town after his current contract with the Sharks expired in December.
It is believed that he was persuaded to stay at The Shark Tank after recently meeting with Michael Yormark, the president of entertainment giants and global sports agency Roc Nation, who represent Fassi.
He is currently sidelined for up to eight weeks after injuring his shin in the Sharks’ loss to the Stormers last week, and will miss the remainder of the URC and Champions Cup.
